Neil graduated with an Honours Degree from Newcastle Polytechnic (Northumbria University) in 1991 before joining Dodds Brown Commercial, Middlesbrough where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1994 and became an Associate in 1996. In 2000 Neil established Thomas & Carrigan Commercial Property Consultants with Tessa Carrigan now incorporated within Thomas : Stevenson. Neil deals with all aspects of commercial property advice with a focus on sales, lettings, acquisitions, valuations, rent reviews & lease renewals, property investment and compulsory purchase advice.

Paul Stevenson BSc (Hons) MRICS

Paul graduated with an Honours Degree from Trent Polytechnic (Nottingham Trent University) in 1990 before joining Sanderson Weatherall, Middlesbrough where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1992 and became an Associate before moving to the Newcastle office as the firms youngest full partner in 1996. Paul become national property director for a High Street retailer in 1999 successfully rolling out a 200 store UK acquisition and development programme. In 2001 Paul became a Director with Lawson Hubbard Lowe Chartered Surveyors, Leeds moving on to establish Thomas : Stevenson. Paul deals with all aspects of commercial property advice with a focus on sales, lettings, acquisitions, valuations, property investment, property development and compulsory purchase.

Andrew Benzies

Andrew joined the Valuation Office Agency, Middlesbrough in 1989 and graduated from the College of Estate Management with a Diploma in Surveying in 1994. During 10 years at the VOA Andrew dealt with rating and taxation valuations for a wide variety of commercial and residential property. Andrew qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996 before joining Browns Estate Agency in 2001 successfully developing & expanding the commercial department. Andrew joined Thomas : Stevenson in July 2006 and deals with all aspects of commercial property advice with a focus on sales, lettings, acquisitions, valuations, rent reviews & lease renewals, property investment and compulsory purchase advice.

Tessa L Carrigan BSc (Hons) MRICS

Tessa graduated with an Honours Degree from South Bank Polytechnic (London South Bank University) in 1994 before joining Storey Sons & Parker, Middlesbrough where she qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996 before leaving to join Dodds Brown Commercial, Middlesbrough. Subsequent spells as a valuation consultant with Durham County Council, Sheffield City Council and Doncaster Borough Council were coupled with the establishment of Thomas & Carrigan Commercial Property Consultants and most recently Thomas : Stevenson. Tessa deals with all aspects of commercial property advice with a focus on valuations, property management, compulsory purchase and public sector consultancy.
